French astronaut Thomas Pesquet has posted another wonderful shot of Nice and the Côte d’Azur, capturing a beautiful image of the waters off the coast. “Hello Nice! Too bad we can't see the carnival parades from up here ;),” the astronaut tweeted from space.
On 28th February, Pesquet, who has been on the International Space Station since November, uploaded a stunning photograph of the region on his official Twitter account.
The lighting of the shot reveals characteristics and landmarks of the city of Nice, the lower Alps and also Villefranche-sur-Mer, Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
It is just one of many epic images the Frenchman has shared of the region in recent weeks.
