Hotel Windsor becomes an art gallery for two days

The Hotel Windsor in Nice is inviting the public within its walls to discover the Camera, Camera exhibition on 25th and 26th of November. The art fair includes contributions from 22 different galleries, such as those in New York, Seoul and Paris. Many of the rooms also display video installations and contemporary art by over one hundred artists.

As part of the Movimenta (Festival of Moving Images) in Nice, the Hotel Windsor will be transforming into an art gallery for one weekend in November as part of the first edition of the Camera, Camera event: hotel rooms, restaurant, bar, garden and even the wellness area will become venues for a range of artistic pieces.

The exhibition features works by over a hundred international artists such as François Morellet, Raymond Hains and Felice Varini.

A jury consisting of the artist Ben, Bernard Chenebault (president of the Amis du Palais de Tokyo), Jean Max Colard (programme director of the Pompidou cultural centre in Paris) and five art collectors will choose the best video piece and the most beautiful gallery from the 31 rooms of the hotel. The winners will be presented with the Camera, Camera award.

Camera, Camera: Saturday 25th November 25th from 2pm to 8pm & Sunday 26th November from 2pm to 6pm at the Hotel Windsor, 11 Rue Dalpozzo, Nice.
