A summer in Monaco: from Impressionism to modern art

Copyright Munch-MuseetFrom 17th July to 1st September, Monaco will showcase an exclusive selection of Impressionist and modern art masterpieces in the newly opened venue of the Moretti Gallery. The establishment has collaborated with the art specialists, the Simon Dickinson Gallery in London, to present the A Summer in Monaco: From Impressionism to Modern Art.

Among the many Impressionist highlights on display there will be: works by Gustave Caillebotte; Eugène Boudin’s beach view of Trouville (1884); two oil portraits of young women by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, as well as two quintessential views by Camille Pissarro along with works by Edvard Munch. The exhibition will also feature samples of the most celebrated names in modern art, including the long-time resident of the Côte d’Azur Pablo Picasso and fellow Cubist Juan Gris.

The Moretti Gallery is opened Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm. Free Admission.
