From 6th February to 30th March, Monaco’s Larvotto tunnel will be closed in both directions from 8pm until 6am. During this time, necessary construction works and upgrades will be carried out with the aim of improving fire safety and public security.
Passing beneath the Monte Carlo Casino and linking the Port Hercules quartier to the east of the principality, the Larvotto tunnel is a travel lifeline for motorists and pedestrians in Monaco.
All works will be carried out at nighttime to limit disruption to traffic and the more noisy tasks will be halted at midnight in respective nearby residents.
According to the Gouvernement Princier, until the works are completed, motorists heading into Monaco from the west will only be able to get as far as the Gare de Monaco while those coming from the east will have to use the Portier exits at the end of Boulevard Larvotto.
