Ville de Nice shuts access to coast

Ensuing bad weather conditions have led the Ville de Nice to close access to certain parts of the city’s coastline from 2pm today.

Stock image.A yellow warning has been issued by officials ahead to the anticipated ‘strong and violent winds’ this afternoon and evening. This has led the Ville de Nice to temporarily shut the water access points at La Réserve and Coco Beach to the right of Boulevard Franck Pilatte as well as the Sentier Littoral coastal path beneath Avenue Jean Lorrain, Boulevard Maurice Maeterlinck and Boulevard Princesse Grace de Monaco.
