71st Music Festival Menton 2020

71st Music Festival MentonOn the first day of August begins the much anticipated 71st Music Festival of Menton. After having celebrated their seventieth-anniversary last year in a splendid celebration, this year’s festival promises to be memorable. Over the years, some of the greatest artists worldwide have come and participated in this prestigious event. This year the event will be taking place in two areas of the city, the traditional “Parvis de la Basilique Saint-Michel” and the “Parc du Pian”.

The additional use of the Pian park, which is a beautiful olive grove overlooking the sea, has been optimised by live streams to encourage people to respect social distances. The event will also be digitalised with the ability to rent Wi-Fi headsets to listen to the live broadcasts of each of the concerts anywhere within the park.

The organisation has also arranged shuttles to transport spectators both to the Parvis cathedral and the park. Reservations are required due to the limited amount of spaces available.

The shuttle for Parvis Saint-Michel Archange departs at 8.15 pm and 8.45 pm from the office of tourism.

For the “Parc du Pian”, the shuttle departs at 5 pm from the office of tourism.

It’s recommended to arrive one hour in advance to avoid waiting in line for too long.

Smart attire is required.
