Business Person of the Year Awards 2019

RBC Business Person of the Year award Each year, in association with the Nice Côte d'Azur Chamber of Commerce (CCI), the Riviera Business Club hosts an award for best businessperson of the year and best start-up of the year. Winners are chosen by a panel of judges who thoroughly examine the stability, growth and potential of businesses nominated by the public. Winners are then awarded at a lively gala dinner in Cannes.

If you would like to nominate someone to be considered for the award, they must fit the following criteria:

-RBC Business Person of the Year Award -
The Business should be registered and operating in the PACA Region or the Principality of Monaco and should have been in business for a minimum of three years.

-RBC Start-Up of the Year Award
The Business should be registered and operating in the PACA Region or the Principality of Monaco and should have been in business for a minimum of one year.

The Chairman of this year’s panel of judges is Greg Harris, Managing Director of Cote d'Azur Villas and winner of the RBC Business Person of the Year award in 2013.

This year’s award ceremony will be held on Friday, 29 November at 7 pm at the Radisson Blu in Cannes. There will be a reception, multi-course dinner and the announcement of the winners. Co-Sponsors of the event include La Compagnie, The Vertech Group, Andyana, Photoxygen, Bandol & Riviera Wine Tours and yours truly, Riviera Insider. The hosts for the evening will be Sarah Lycett & Mark Dezzani.

Last year’s winners were Antonio Barona, founder of The Vertech Group, who was awarded RBC Business Person of the Year and Niamh Cogan, co-founder of Nunii Laboratoire, who was awarded RBC Start-Up of Year.
