ART & CULTURE
The University of Côte d'Azur has launched an open call to students and young creative graduates to apply for a new residency concept for a free three-week creative production training.
In an innovative new joint project, Banijay, Université Côte d'Azur and the Cannes City Council are launching "Content Creatives Incubator", a free three-week residency for students and young creative graduates.
A unique experience driven by the ambition to design the audiovisual production of tomorrow, the project fits perfectly within the framework of the "Cannes On Air" program developed by David Lisnard, to make Cannes a mecca for creation in addition to broadcasting, promotion and showcasing.
The Content Creatives Incubator will take place in Cannes in October 2020, bringing together masterclasses with the biggest names in the creative and media industries, coaching by internationally recognised experts in design thinking, studio experience and a partnership with Mipcom.
How to become part of the training?
Candidates must imagine and propose, before June 30, an original concept for a television channel or platform. The concept must incorporate 2 of the following 4 characteristics:
- the creative audience is family and intergenerational
- the dynamics of the project are based on an "extraordinary" experience lived by the protagonists
- a light and funny tone
- the project brings to light a cast rarely seen on camera
The selection criteria are, above all, creativity and innovation! All the information and the application form are available by following this link.
At the end of this immersive residency, the participants will present their final project in teams to a jury composed of media personalities. The finalists will be offered internships or fixed-term contracts with Banijay, one of the world leaders in content creation, to participate in the creation of new programs with the creative teams or to continue the development of the winning concept.
Good luck to all!
