On 8 October, Chef Paolo Sari invited a group of journalists to a press picnic high above Monaco in the 5-hectare organic garden of Domaine D'Agerbol. Here, the world's first organic chef to be crowned with a Michelin star presented the fifth edition of the "La Route du Goût", an event he initiated in the Principality.
This weekend, from 12 to 13 October, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Quai Antoine 1er will focus on organic gastronomy, but also on ecological issues, health, youth and sport. Craftsmen, farmers and winegrowers will present their products to the public, including tastings and sales.
On Saturday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., eight chefs will invite you to try out their skills on the Riva boats lying in the harbour. In the evening from 7.30 p.m. to 10 p.m. there will be a dinner in the famous Riva Tunnel in honour of international organic cuisine, which will also be prepared by the eight chefs. The entrance fee is 100 euros per person, the proceeds go to the charitable projects of "Bio Chef Global Spirit".
Founded in 2015 by Paolo Sari and his wife Moné, this association aims to make the general public aware of the impact of our eating habits on nature. Thanks to "Bio Chef Global Spirit" and several partners, the hotel management school "Institut hôtelier et culinaire biologique Moné et Paolo Sari" was opened to 40 young students in Madagascar in April.
