Numerous legendary artists are due to perform during this year’s 45th Monte Carlo Sporting Summer Festival. Over the next few weeks artists from all over the world will perform in different venues across the Principality.
Artists such as Sting, the Beach Boys and Melody Gardot will be performing. The Festival is takes place from the 4th of July to August 10 and is organised by the Société des Bains de Mer.
Last year Tom Jones, Seal, Etienne Daho and MC Solar took the stage in different locations such as the Salle des Etoiles or the Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo. These artists already succeeded Rihanna, Elton John, the late Johnny Hallyday or Lady Gaga. This year the Monte Carlo Sporting Summer Festival gathers yet another particularly talented batch of artists.
From Australian Pink Floyd (July 11), to The Jacksons (August 6) to the Beach Boys (July 13), music lovers will be taken back to the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Since its creation in 1974, the Festival continues the tradition and offers music lovers lively summer nights they will remember.
On July 11, Australian Pink Floyd cover band will perform at the Opéra Garnier with tickets from 65 euros. Paying tribute to the legendary group that confirmed their rank in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Australian Pink Floyd will be performing for Fight Aids Monaco, a charity organisation created by Princess Stéphanie in 2004, in order to combat the disease.
On July 12, Melody Gardot will again be bringing her sultry jazz vocals back to the stage of the Opéra Garnier. The August lineup also includes Enrique Iglesias.
