CÔTE D'AZUR & PROVENCE
In anticipation of autumn and winter, the Nice-Matin ID Weekend is reopening its door at the Port Lympia in Nice from Friday 16 to Sunday, 18 October. The site will be open to visitors between 10 am and 7 pm Friday and Saturday and will exceptionally end at 6 pm Sunday. With free access to the public, the 3,000 m2 space will receive about sixty exhibitors. It expects more than 8,000 visitors this year! These three days of exchange, discovery, and escape are a great way to rediscover the Provence-Alpes- Côte d’Azur region, Monaco, Corsica, and other nearby locations.
Every once in a while, people need a moment to loosen their tie, take a deep breath, re-calibrate their life to wake up on the right foot the next day. Far from always being on automatic mode, everyone needs a breather to connect the dots that make up their lives. What better place to be during those moments than in the PACA region! This is a region where the sea, the mountains, and the countryside are within reach with plenty of leisure and fun activities. In that regard, a fun fact is that as the second most attractive tourist region in France, 60% of the tourists are actually from the area.
The Salon ID Nice-Matin is a great meeting place to find out more about regional tourism. Everything from where to book short stays and what sites offer the most appropriate activities that suit your tastes is presented. The exhibitors highlight the latest trends for local tourists. They’ll be ready to meet the expectations of adventurers, take-it-easy specialists, and cultural seekers. Hence, whether you are looking for a sporting holiday at the peak of a mountain or a relaxing break on the beach, you’ll probably want to come around that weekend. The selection of exhibitors will test your preferences and help you plan your next perfect getaway.
Additionally, the event will include various animations, discovery workshops, raffles, and many different entertaining activities for adults and children. These will consist of: football animations with OGC Nice, city tours by scooter or pony, dog sledging, walks to visit the city of Nice, flight simulations, rock climbing, rides, culinary demonstrations, and more!
