Riviera Insider is giving away tickets for a concert by piano star David Fray with the Orchestre de Cannes. The talented Fray was discovered in 2006 when the then 24-year-old had to step-in at the last minute for Hélène Grimaud at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. That evening he captured the audience as he played Bach and Mozart, and became an instant star of the piano scene.
On Friday, 16th November at 8.30 pm, Fray will be performing an evening dedicated to German Romanticism at the Théâtre Croisette. Starting with Schuhmann's romantic piano concerto in A minor, op. 54 "Concerto for piano" and moving on to Brahms’ 3rd Symphony. He will no doubt sweep the Cannes audience off their feet. Fray will be accompanied by the Orchestre de Cannes, conducted by Benjamin Levy.
Riviera Insider has a few pairs of tickets (valued at €66) to see this young piano master. To take part in the competition, please send an email with the subject "Orchestra Cannes" and your postal address to email@example.com
The closing date for entries is Monday, 12 November 2018.
