    After the first week of lockdown, there are new rules and tighter restrictions across the PACA region, including the closure of all coastline and beaches and a new nightly curfew. A new (old) drug trial has launched at the CHU de Nice, where they will be testing chloroquine in its ability to shorten and lesson Coronavirus symptoms.

As expected, turnout was extremely low. The second round, scheduled for next Sunday, 21 March has been postponed due to the corona crisis. Here we give some results from the first round of voting in the Côte d'Azur.

  • Immediate affects of Brexit for British nationals

    Brexit RefBrexit became effective at midnight on 31 January. The French Ministry of the Interior sent out a press release a few hours before concerning British citizens residing in France. It provides a brief outlining of what does and does not immediately change and gives dates and websites relevant to permit requirements. Clearly, France knows that there are thousands of Britons in a state of disbelief and concern for their future.
